All for water, water for all!

Under this motto, Dr. Weigert is also committed to Viva con Agua and clean drinking water worldwide.

Alongside many other social projects, Dr. Weigert is actively committed to promoting sustainable drinking water, which is why we source our drinking water within the company exclusively from Viva con Agua. We have made a conscious decision to purchase drinking water from sources close to home as part of a sustainable drinking water supply. Water from Viva con Agua is therefore also available for our business meetings as standard.

Sustainable drinking water means that the water is obtained, treated and distributed in an ecologically and socially responsible manner.

The Hamburg Sankt Pauli-based association Viva con Agua, which was officially registered and recognized as a non-profit organization in 2006, is committed to providing access to clean drinking water in developing countries and works closely with local partners to implement sustainable water projects and improve the living conditions of local people.

The water projects supported are designed to be sustainable and follow the WASH (Water, Sanitation and Hygiene) principle, i.e. they always include the components of sanitation and hygiene to ensure permanent access to clean drinking water.

Sanitary facilities can counteract the contamination of (ground) water. Hygiene, for example through regular and effective hand washing, reduces the spread of bacteria, keeps drinking water clean and supports people's health.

This enables the long-term improvement of livelihoods within the supported communities.
