Our system against excessive foam – your neodisher® consultant with neodisher® Entschäumer S and neodisher® BioKlar
Depending on the nature and extent of the dirt input into a dishwasher, for example, by increased protein-containing residues on plates or pots, foam may occur, which reduces the cleaning performance. If the machine is also operated using a low fresh water supply, unwanted residues on the items to be washed may be the result.
This is often observed after investing in a new generation of dishwashers. The latest technologies in new dishwashers reduce the consumption of water, chemicals and energy which reduces operating costs.
However, these optimised machines can lead to problems at the beginning. To avoid being disappointed with the new machines if the cleaning results turn out to be insufficient, it is advisable to keep an eye on the entire hygiene process at an early stage. This means e.g. despite having the most modern technology, giving attention to a good pre-clearance or even reorganising this step. This would limit the initial level of pollution in the dishwasher, thus minimising foaming from the outset.
Another possibility for reducing foam is the addition of a defoamer component such as neodisher® Entschäumer S. It may also be helpful to use a foam-reducing rinse aid such as neodisher® BioKlar.
Our qualified consultants advise and support you in optimising your processes on site and ensure a smooth and low-foaming operation of your dishwasher – feel free to contact us!
