Purchase Policy

Purchasing - our policy

Achieving a high level of customer satisfaction is the core aim of our business. An essential requirement here is the delivery of products of highest and consistent quality. This demands the utmost care when selecting raw materials and packaging. The high standards that we set for our business also apply to the selection and evaluation of our suppliers. This means supplying first-class, consistent grades, ensuring reliability of supply, delivering on time and offering competitive prices. To achieve this, we co-operate across the board with the appropriate specialist divisions of our company in order to ensure the best combination of performance, delivery, adherence to schedules and prices. Achieving quality targets is an essential condition, along with the aim to optimise our supply chain management.

Quality responsibility

We are responsible for quality and aim for zero errors in the procurement of our raw materials, packaging, technical components, technical assistance and services.

Supplier development

For goods and services, we require innovative, high-performance suppliers whom we would like to involve in our development projects at an early stage, and with whom we want to co-operate openly, fairly and on a long-term basis.

Fairness and transparency

We make our purchasing decisions solely on objective and clearly defined criteria. In selecting suppliers, implementing objectives and evaluating supplier performance, we coordinate internally and act in accordance with uniform criteria and procedures.

We create optimum solutions for our company and our customers through internationally oriented, systematic purchase market cultivation.

Ecological responsibility

Protecting the environment is important to us. Our company is certified in accordance with ISO 14001. The guidelines of our environmental policy and our environmental management also determine the choice of purchased products regarding biodegradability, recycling and disposal in packaging and transport.
