Future Day – Girls’ and Boys’ Day 2026

On April 23, 2026, Dr. Weigert opened its doors to six curious young people to give them a glimpse into the professional world.

Future Day, which took place as part of the nationwide Girls’ Day and Boys’ Day, offered participants a varied program. After a mandatory safety briefing, the day began with a tour of our production facilities, bottling area, and large warehouses. In the application technology department, the young people gained hands-on insights, such as visualizing starch residues and alkaline residues on dishware. Our trainees shared their experiences regarding career choices and demonstrated just how diverse the training opportunities at Dr. Weigert are. The children were truly surprised by this.

Finally, in our analytical and microbiology labs, there was plenty of experimentation: from flame tests to the examination of yeast cells.

Future Day was an eventful day for the participants, one that not only sparked interest but also opened up new perspectives. Career choices continue to be heavily influenced by gender stereotypes. Dr. Weigert is committed to stereotype-free career guidance and supports young people in discovering their own interests and strengths. After all, every profession makes an important contribution to our shared success.

We wish the participating children and young people every success on their journey toward choosing a career!

We would also like to thank all participants for their commitment to Future Day.
